The ideal individual(s) for this role should be very eager to learn the art of delivering web-based products, and should have the ability to anticipate challenges, move projects forward, and resolve issues independently. • Assist the Director of Production and / or Senior Producers, sometimes acting as the individual point of contact for clients and internal teams:
    • Aid in the gathering of all project requirements and organize them up-front in a manner that will allow proper project scoping
    • Help plan all aspects of projects from the start
    • Assist in the creation of project work plans
    • Clearly communicate and maintain project timelines, including milestones, deadlines and deliverables, to all assigned team members as projects evolve
    • Review work before it leaves our shop and gets in to the client’s hands (assure that changes requested by the client have been made properly before we send our product out for client review)
    • Research solutions to problems wherever possible; aid the development team in finding and choosing solutions to problems where you are able
  • Other related work:
    • Aid development team in QA / testing
    • Help with basic Photoshop (or other image software) tasks
    • Help to maintain various websites using content management systems like WordPress and Drupal (no previous WordPress or Drupal knowledge is required. It’s pretty darn easy and you will be trained on how to use these tools)
    • Attend on-site meetings, brainstorms, and work sessions at client offices whenever necessary
    • If you have basic HTML/CSS skills, there could be some light development tasks
    • Meet or exceed all project deadlines and internal deadlines

  • A strong desire to learn digital production best practices
  • Knowledge of mobile and web technologies
  • Experience with Excel and Word
  • Experience with basic HTML/CSS, JS, or Google Apps Script is not necessary, but would be a big plus. This is not a development position, but having a basic, working knowledge of front-end technologies would be a bonus
  • Experience with Photoshop or other design tools would be a plus. Designers are strongly encouraged to apply
  • A quick learner, able to adapt to an ever-changing digital environment
  • A “no-panic” personality, and lead projects by example by remaining calm, cool and in control
  • Strong communication skills
  • Independent work ethic / drive
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude, flexibility and a sense of humor
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for all things digital
